Psychic On The Line- By: eddie hunter

Description : The world believes in psychics! It’s true, it must be! I have been working for a psychic website for quite some time now, and all I can see is telephone call after call of people looking for assistance. The figures are amazing, if you search the word “psychic” on Google you will see that the engine returns the result 14 million up!

On the 6th of November 2009, a live séance with Derek Acorah (TV clairvoyant) at the helm, Whether or not you believe in ‘life after death’ or not, you can’t use these things as an instance for or against anything in the medium arena!
What it does mean is that there is so much curiosity in the topic, that it enabled a TV show to be commissioned, if nobody was concerned the programme wouldn’t see the light of day.

On the subject matter of TV there are all the medium Television channels popping up on satellite television and on the world-wide-web. There are channels like psychic TV on Sky Channel 886, where people can phone in for a reading live on Television. The ITV show “medium Detectives” where 3 clairvoyants go around the UK trying to crack un-solved murders using old photos or clothing to ‘Tune in’ to the spirit of the human being in question.

The most famed ‘platform’ psychics like John Edward and his show “Crossing Over”, Sally Morgan who is massive in the UK, and many more.
Before this current era we find ourselves in, there seemed to be more shows about debunking psychics as “Charlatans”, but perhaps today people need something further to believe in!

Clairvoyance, of course, is nothing new. People have been using a range of methods of foretelling from roughly 1000 BC.
Prediction takes place using numerous tools by mediums, Mediums, Clairvoyants.
Tarot cards, I-Ching, Numerology, Astrology, Psychometry, White Witches, Tea leaves, even the contents of Sheep’s stomachs were used by early Shamen and soothsayers.

Houdini (famous escapologist) promised his companion that he would get in touch with her in the event he died earliest, which was always a likely outcome when considering his day job. Famously she tried to contact him with various mediums, with disappointing results.
Elvis (the King) Presley died in 1977, and again in a blaze of media hype on prime time TV in the USA, séances were played out with a psychic called Dorothy Sherry, David Stanley, Elvis' half-brother took part to verify the details that emerged. They say that the reading was quite exact according to the brother.

With all that medium history that has gone before us, we now use the new machinery like phones, web, SMS, satellite television and Television to do what we always have done, to try and find the answers we all seek. There are hundreds of websites offering these services and even more people on “Facebook” ready to tell you your outlook and “heal your life”. Do we want all this?
Apparently we do!
